Glad God was able to use me.  Give him the glory as he is the one that
deserves it.

I hope you never get discouraged reading the Bible.  The bible is a
combination of many books.  The old testament(OT) collection and the
new testament(NT) collection.

Don't read it as a novel, it won't work as it doesn't follow a time
line completely.  Some books jump around the time line of the old
testament and the same goes for the new testament.

If you have never read the the bible before, I suggest to people to
start reading the NT first.  I suggest the book of Luke followed by
the book of John, two of the gospels.  You can always go back later
and read Matthew and Mark at a latter time.  I follow that with John,
Acts and Romans and on through the Epistles of Paul.

The OT deals with the History of people from creation that followed
God and his promises to them, to building of the nation of Isreal
coming out of Egypt to what is called the holy land.  The giving to
the nation of Isreal the laws which was also part of the old covenant
God made with them.  On to books of poetry and also the prophets of
old, that prophesies the coming of Christ. To warnings to the nation
of Isreal and Judea and the nations around them. And God's punishment
of Isreal and Judea for adopting other gods to worship and not
remembering God and what he had done for them.

I have read through the Bbile several times, and each time, I learn
something new!

May god bless you with his understanding and the holy spirit to lead
you down your path in reading his word.
