Welcome to the group Sandy.

Yes Sandy there is hope.  God never promised an easy life, Jesus even
said that his followers would suffer as he had.  But what gets us
through the difficult times is our faith in Him.  He has done what we
can't.  We have grace and forgiveness because of what he did for us on
the cross.  Through that forgiveness we attain eternal life.  But we
have to believe and repent and accept the free gift of life by his
grace.  God can give us the strength to deal with this world we live
in till he calls us home.  Our home is with him not here, but we are
here to do a job for God, to be used as a tool to bring others to Him
until our days are done.
